My wife and I just celebrated our 39th anniversary. When we got married she had a newer Mercury Cougar and I had a newer Chevy Silverado. We took her car on our honeymoon - a road trip around the state of Oregon. We pulled in to a service station in a very small town where the attendant pointed out that we had two tires worn down to the steel belt. The other two were not far behind. Four tires at a small town gas station was not cheap. I now counsel prospective grooms to check the tires of his intended before he pops the question. :-)
