I know a doctor of mathematics Maciej Borodzik from my Faculty who recenzed a Masters Thesis of one guy who achieved a new result in algebraic topology: https://apd.uw.edu.pl/diplomas/199269/
And he wrote something like "that master's thesis can be surely published in magazine worth 100 points. If author repaires all commas, which is highly non-trivial, then it can be published in magazine for 140 points" :).
