I am not from pedagogy major, I study Literature, English literature. But since nobody seems to find the practical application of literature, many of them are choosing the teacher's route though they certainly are not well-qualified to do so. I think that being teacher has to be a passion and that they have another stream of income other than being a teacher. Let's say, stock investing, properties, etc.
