Coffee in Motion

There’s always something so fascinating about a crowded coffee shop. The other week, I went to a place called Kopi Bersaudara. The place is located in Mojokerto east java and apparently it is one of the hip and trendiest cafes in that city. Inside the place, different crowds gather; from govt workers, to family to coffee enthusiasts.

Inside the place, they have an open space bar where we can sort of chat with the barista. It is encouraged and the barista are all friendly. Visitors can also see the roasting process in the place because the owner is also selling their own roasted coffee.

What was even more impressive was that they are pretty okay if I am going there with my camera. These days, some cafes can charge us money if we’re seen with a bulky camera. I hate this policy but it exists a lot in many cafes here. This place was quite different. It was still allowing me to do that. I even met with the owner, who was roasting the beans and we had quite a bit of chat. The chat ended up with him giving me free coffee, a nicely brewed v60.

I was actually surprised that their coffee tastes pretty decent and they have an interesting menu such as this tropic0. It’s a heavenly mix of cold brew and coconut water.

I also found a nice variant of coffee in this place but more importantly, it was the overall vibe and liveliness that I really love seeing from the place. Have you visited any lively coffee shops?
