Just flexing my Brother's corn farm

Hola everyone, it's Mac once again welcomes you to my new adventure. Before everything else, I would like to thank you for supporting my previous blog.

It was Saturday night when my sister in law messaged me via messenger that my goat's kid is about to be weaned. She said that I need to get and send it to someone who wants to take care of it for production purposes. With that, I suddenly decided to go home so I can personally talk to someone for the terms and conditions. It was early in the afternoon when I arrived at my elder sister's house. My nephews and niece happily welcomed me and said that their parents are not around. So I asked one of my nephews to bring me to where the goat is pastured so that I could see and estimate the starting price of the kid.

Later on, my brother arrived and asked about my decision. I told him that I'm gonna send the kid to our Uncle and have him take care of it. He then told me to inform the latter in order for him to take the kid. So, I visited my uncle and told him to get the kid tomorrow so we can talk about the terms and conditions. Of course, I have to put up an initial price for the goat as newly weaned And the conditions will be talked about when he arrives. While walking to my uncle's house, I saw an unknown beautiful wild flowers in the farm.

Can anyone tell me the name of this? They look good in bulk

At about 5:00 in the afternoon, I noticed that we don't have drinking water. So I asked my nephew to come with me and fetch some water in the old nature spring. We call it tinubdan, located in sitio Guintigi.an, Brgy. Calambua about more or less 500 meters away from the house.

Overview : this water source is very natural and is considered as life saver during the past El Ni帽o.

This is the only spring that Supplies the water needs of our sitio and even some of the surrounding barangays of Tabuelan and San Remigio. My elder sister said that it's about 1&1/2 yrs. of water scarcity. Luckily, this spring didn't stop providing water.
The sunset is about to come and the area is very remote so we expect that it's dark out there. When we arrive, I suddenly felt thirsty maybe because I missed the taste of this water. So, I drank using my hands as a cup馃槀

Can you still remember the last time you drink like this?馃槣

There's no one fetching water but there's a lot of containers and gallons around the area.

These serve as their storage especially during classes.

Students can't just rely on the flow of water every morning because it's slow when opened for a long time. So all they have to do is stock water at night for a cold bath the next morning. During my time in the late 20th century, we didn't need to stock water because the water flow is really fast. We don't even need to cover the pipe because if we do, it will leak around the tank due to water pressure and its abundance. That was around 2012 that this was renovated by one of our neighbors who became a municipal councilor. As his project, he decided to clean and destroy the original tank.

This is the outcome of his project 馃槩

As we all know, we can't go against nature. If we do, we should bear and embrace the consequences. After his renovation, everything changed. The water flows slower and slower until such time that the natives were afraid to lose the water source.
Last year, everyone decided to renovate the area again (hopefully it will be the last time) aiming to:

  • widen,
  • build a hut to cover the washing area,
  • put a solar light and,
  • cover the pipe in order to economize the water.

My brother is the one who leads this action and asks for financial help from his friends and acquaintances in the city and via social media . Together with the Oplan Bayanihan locally known as Dagyaw (sense of togetherness and cooperation) from all the natives, they successfully carried out the objective.
