Finding value in Splinterland cards – Almo Cambio

This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Almo Cambio.

Strategy

I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
This card’s main advantages are its Massive HP (12!!), Speed (4), and the Immunity ability. Moreover, it is a neutral card, further increasing its usefulness. Costing 7 mana, this card is most useful in medium/high mana battles. Whenever facing the Noxious Fumes or Keep Your Distance rule sets, using this card is a no brainer, and will most likely give you the win.
This is a top card, hence its high cost (currently around 25$).

Market Analysis

A top card, with the corresponding price tag attached, but an interesting investment.
Let’s look at the last 6 months.

Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:

in regular foil, a slight downward trend can be observed, although the card does not seem to lose a lot of value. There is a long-standing resistance at around 22$, which we will see if it holds in the following weeks.

in gold foil, due to the small number of cards, its value is very inconsistent and very prone to market manipulation.
