Hi all,
Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts 😊
This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Tortisian Fighter.

Card stats
I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
It is very hard to find a place for this card right now. It has low speed, 2 damage, and it doesn’t fit the role of tank very well due to low HP. The lack of abilities at lower levels also doesn’t allow to compensate for these lackluster stats. The only usefulness I would find of this car is in the Little League ruleset, where the 2 damage can be good with cards of 4 mana or less. Still, a very niche scenario, where it can still be replaced with Feasting Seaweed, which has the very useful opportunity ability. Overall, I would suggest newer players to skip this card.
I would like to add though that at higher levels, the Tortisian Fighter gains very useful abilities; so, only consider it if you aim to climb to higher leagues.
Not a very useful card for lower levels, hence the current prices.
Let’s look at the last 6 months.
Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:
Please let me know in the comments if there is any further information you would like me to include in future analysis.
Stay safe!
