Yesterday I listened to this BBC Podcast which is an interview of Amber Scorah grew up in Canada in a family of Jehovah鈥檚 Witnesses. She was passionate about her belief and, as a newlywed, moved to Shanghai with her husband to become an undercover missionary because of the restrictions on religious preaching in China. Amber was determined to convert people, but ended up doubting her own faith.
Her story fitted perfectly to Martin Scorsese's Silence. It was more like the movie was about her.

But, what really shocked me about Amber's story was that she was ostracised from her community and family when she left the religion. I don't understand how families can do that to their own blood馃槹 I'm one person who believes that all religions are the same in that we all worship 1 God, whether the religion is Muslim, Bahai Faith or anything. That's why even after Amber's family was gone she still got the same love from the new community she found, 'cause really at the end of the day We are all Global Citizens
