Life really is about the choices we make and how it affects others. I'm so sorry about your sibling; those left behind experience such guilt at not helping, but the despondent one is a master at disguising their pain. It's not your fault. And unfortunately, with regards to your relationship, we sometimes mistakenly pour our hearts and energies into stuff as opposed to people. Life is full of tough lessons too I guess.
