I am back again to contribute to the most happening project Utopian.io, and the beautiful thing is I'm contributing to them through them as well. Well, I'm using their platform right now while writing this post. My experience? wow!! Just wow!! All you see in Utopian.io's feed is contributions to the open source projects by sharing ideas and features, helping projects catch bugs on their applications, coding contributions, and much more.
I have been noticing in a while that it's very hard to keep track of upvotes received and upvotes given on Steemit.com. When someone upvotes your post and you upvoted others, then it comes to a time when your voting strength comes very low without noticing. For this, you would have to remember every upvote you make or you have to use the other sites to check the voting power. Steemd.com, the steemit block explorer, can be used to check the voting power and the see the logs of your account activity and all the information that you might not want to know as well. I have found steemstats.com pretty useful to know how many upvotes you made within 24hours and to see incoming upvotes.
Currently, on steemit.com, the only way to know who upvoted you is to go through every comments or post that you made, if you were to only depend on steemit.com. So my suggestion for this would be to add Votes tab on Steemit which will show the incoming and outgoing votes total number within last 24 hours, so that way users can keep track of their upvotes easily. Upvotes are the creators of rewards we receive, but we don't have space for them, why? huhu( Just Being Sarcastic).
Votes tab where you can select Incoming and Outgoing votes and see the history.
Some of the usernames are not fitting on the line and links are not well fitted. I know many times we would just be checking the numbers, but sometimes we might want to know if we are receiving the likes on the posts or comments and so on, so it would be a safer and better if we set this in two screens. One for the incoming upvotes and other for the outgoing upvotes which can be accessed from the same Votes button, like in the rewards function in Steemit.
Let me know your thoughts on this to make the Steemit even better place. If you are interested to contribute in open source project just like I did now, Click the Sharpest Icon below.
