Днес си направихме кратка разходка до защитения резерват „Пода“ и ще споделя с Вас малко снимки. Намира се, съвсем близо до Бургас, на около 5 км, в посока Созопол.
Интересно място, на което ще видите отблизо розово фламинго, орли блатари, чапли и още няколкостотин вида.
Безспорно най-интересен, обаче, е кралят на резервата – морският орел. Наблюдавахме го с далекоглед, от около 2 км. Бяха двойка и изглеждаха огромни. Ако застане до вас, измерете 90 см от тялото си и ще добиете представа как изглежда до вас.
Направи ми впечатление, обаче, нещо друго...
На метри от границите на резервата се намира приютът за бездомни кучета, стопанисван от община Бургас. Орнитолозите, споделиха за един съществен проблем през последните години. Скитащи се кучета унищожават масово много от фауната в района. И проблемът, всъщност, не е приютът. Той е добре организиран.

Проблемът е, че много хора, когато решат да се отърват от кучето си, забележете, не го карат в приюта, а го оставят на паркинга. И си отиват. И то започва самостоятелен живот в резервата, за да оцелее. Налага се орнитолозите да го занесат на „съседите си“.
Същото е и с други екзотични домашни любимци, като някои чуждоземни костенурки. Когато омръзнат на децата да ги гледат, родителите отиват и ги пускат на „Пода“, мислейки че правят добро. Напротив – те са по-хищни от нашите видове и го унищожават.

Today we took a short walk to the protected reserve "Poda," and I'll share with you some pics. It's located very close to Burgas, about 5 km in the direction of Sozopol.
An exciting place where you'll see up close pink flamingos, golden eagles, herons, and several hundred species.
However, the most interesting is the king of the reserve - the sea eagle. We watched it with binoculars, from about 2 km. They were a couple, and they looked huge. If he stands next to you, measure 90 cm from your body, and you'll get an idea of what he looks like next to you.
However, something else impressed me ...
The shelter for stray dogs, managed by the municipality of Burgas, is located meters from the borders of the reserve. Ornithologists told me about a significant problem in recent years. Stray dogs are massively destroying much of the fauna in the area. The problem, in fact, is not the shelter. He's well organized.
The problem is that many people when they decide to abandon their dog, notice that they do not drive it to the shelter but leave it in the parking lot. And they leave. And it begins an independent life in the reserve to survive. Ornithologists have to take it to their "neighbors."
It's the same with other exotic pets, such as some foreign turtles. When children get tired of watching them, their parents go and put them in the reserve, thinking they are doing well. On the contrary, they are more predatory than our species and destroy it.
