CHAPTER 1 : TWO SIDES OF A COIN

In a metaverse far, far away, Lunacia is full of Axies, mystical creatures filled with power and peculiar abilities.

Queen Luna, ruler of Lunacia has always maintained the balance of her kingdom with her protection. She was a mystic Axie, one that is imbued with gifts. A one-in-a-million axie if you may say so.

As Luna was the ruler the brighter side of Lunacia, Lich was an evil mystic axie who rules the darker side of Lunacia. They are both mystic axies tasked with the protection of Lunacia by the old gods.

Lich was always jealous of Luna, who was beloved by all the axies as they praise and sing songs about her. Meanwhile, Lich's domain is the nether regions of Lunacia, where all the social rejects are dumped. Lich was supposed to be the herald to make sure the bad axies do not go the wrong path further. He does this by absorbing their negative energy into his body. But Lich never wanted his job from the start, he wanted to switch with Queen Luna. Alas, he found a way on how he can use the negative energy he absorbs to realize his plans - by corrupting them.

The Lich and Queen Luna could not meddle with each other's affairs directly due to the vow of the old gods. As such, Lich has devised his evil ways on how he can steal Lunacia.

Everything changed when a lone slime, devoid of any consciousness was corrupted by the Lich. The slime was eaten away by darkness and was transformed to the Slime King, a villain so great, no one could ever beat alone.
