Celebrating life part 2 (Spa-Eng)

Hello everyone,

I come to tell you that we continued the walk and went to visit Mafalda and Manolito in Colinas de Bello Monte, in Oberón Square in Caracas. I always wanted a photo with these sculptures, I saw them far away and finally I did it.

Since I was a child I admire the critical thinking of Mafalda, worried about a chaotic world, always curious, nonconformist and wanting to understand and change the planet for the better.

His message was immortalized in cartoons, messages and dialogues. I hope the message of Mafalda, which is still valid after so many decades, becomes a permanent trend.

I am aware that these initiatives mobilize people in favor or against, in fact part of the community protested at the inauguration on June 25, saying: "I Mafalda do not want".

I think after all we know that it is not against Mafalda, but there are things that require priority, such as attending needs and good services, so it is important that all policies are coherent.

Vengo a contarles que continué el paseo y fuimos a visitar a Mafalda y Manolito en Colinas de Bello Monte, en la plaza Oberón en Caracas. Siempre quise una foto en estas esculturas, lo veía lejano y al fin lo logré.

Desde niña admiro el pensamiento crítico de Mafalda, preocupada por un mundo caótico, siempre curiosa, inconformista y con ganas de entender y cambiar el planeta para el bien.

Su mensaje se inmortalizó en caricaturas, mensajes y diálogos. Ojalá se hiciera una tendencia permanente el mensaje de Mafalda que aún sigue vigente después de tantas décadas.

Estoy consiente que que estas iniciativas movilizan a las personas a favor o en desacuerdo, de hecho parte de la comunidad protestó en la inauguración del 25 de junio, diciendo: "Yo Mafalda no quiero".

Creo que después de todo sabemos que no es contra Mafalda, sino que hay cosas que requieren prioridad, tal como atender necesidades y buenos servicios, por lo que es importante que todas las políticas sean coherentes.
