Good Morning.. all my friends. Currently, there is a short pipe fix here in Miri. It will be scheduled later, around 5 p.m. till the next day Thursday to have some maintenance work to repair the pipes.

So, the whole of Miri is preparing for this event. A lot of people have been stocking up on lots of mineral water. So, I am also preparing for it. The only thing now, not one really knows, is if the whole of Miri is affected or only some. The local municipality will have lots of places where you can collect water if you need to get water. The estimated repair work is estimated to be 24 hours to 48 hours.

So, I've also prepared some water at home to be stored in case there is no water for the next two days.

This is a portable water dispenser that is placed here in my bathroom in case I need to brush my teeth or wash my face.

A water container filled with maybe around a couple of baths and toilet flushes worth of water.

I saw on Facebook some other people using their bins and putting a plastic bag inside while they fill it up with water. So, you do not need to go and get any extra containers.

The water tank at my house. This has been flushed and cleaned of the stagnant water and filled with new cleaner water. So, I guess, we have enough water for a couple of days in case there is really no water.

Another smaller container here for spare water. Preparing for this event as it is going to happen.

Some extra bottles of water in my room for the next two days in case there is not enough drinking water. I also already filled up a couple of my drinking bottles.

Every day, we take for granted water, but once there is none, then we all get worried. This is just for two days of no water. But, what about if one day, there is a day when there is no water on earth? A really scary thought.
