Mile 36 lodge Kundasang, Sabah. Kundasang has always been one of my favorite places to travel to. This time I stayed at Mile 36 Lodge for two nights. The best thing about staying here at Kundasang is the weather. Cold all year round. In Miri, it has always been hot and wet.

After visiting the Kundasang market, it was time to head back to the lodge to get some rest.

Kundasang town is around twenty minutes from where I stayed. By car.

The view from the room I was staying in. Foggy. The cold weather plus it was raining a lot while I was there. The nighttime temperatures dropped a lot.

This was the lodge I stayed in for a couple of days here. Not bad but I was staying on the first floor.

The second floor's wooden floor was something to deal with at night. When someone ran around the floor, it could be heard from the first floor. At least you know you are not alone.

My transport for the last few days while I was here

Drove this car all the way from Brunei, more than 8 hours away.

The bathroom

There was the hot water and cold water. But the temperature wasn't constant. Had to adjust it quite a bit just to get the temperature right. I made sure to shower before nightfall just to make sure that the water wasn't that cold.

The room

Quite comfortable. Two beds. One for me and one for my wife. There are no air conditioners here due to the weather being quite cold. The lodge also gave free complimentary breakfast. Fried noodles and fried rice.

The mountainous view.

This area is beautiful and it is what I usually see if I do travel overseas.

These are all different lodges. They also offer laundry that is reasonably priced.

The view of mount Kota Kinabalu. Too much fog. So the mountain wasn't that clear on this day. I woke up a couple of days early just to take a picture of the beautiful mountain.

Thank you for reading this post. Have a great day.
