While I was traveling, I noticed that the mollies have been busy working hard reproducing. I looked into the aquarium and noticed some small ones swimming inside. This is the tank that has the smaller fish.
The water weeds provide a little shelter for the little ones while they grow into adults.
And, while I was cleaning the Guinea Pig enclosure, I noticed a little Guinea Pig running around. I thought I that it was my imagination, but then, it was not. It was a little guinea pig. I call it the little panda as it has the two patches around its eyes just like a panda bear.
Guinea Pigs are somewhat the strangest that I've known in the mammal species. As it is born, it already has the features of an adult guinea pig, but the only thing is that it is smaller in size. Then, in a bout a week, it is going to be able to eat and run around just like its mom.
I am also at the moment doing some cleaning out of things that I feel are no longer of any use. So, this can, I kept it for a couple of years. It is due to the unique design. I decided to just take a photo of it as a memory and bring it to recycle.
Then it also flooded here in Miri. But, luckily, this year, it was not so bad. It receded after a couple of hours. And now, it has become really hot again.
Can you spot the drain? The water has reached above the drain and covered the whole drain. Luckily, after a bit of time, it slowly subsided, and things got back to normal. A day ago, I was busy clearing out the weeds from one of the drain pipe entrance that leads to the drains beneath.
Why has the water turned brown? The answer lies in the hills, which are a couple of kilometres from my house. The rain at times becomes so heavy ( once a year ). It runs off the hills and to the houses without being able to flow out in time. Some areas are hit even worst. Last year was really bad because it rained non stop for a couple of days.
After a couple of hours, the water subsided fully and it was time to head out to the city area again. After some cleaning of the floors. The waters brought some garbage into the car park.
Thank you very much for spending a bit of time reading this post.
Have a wonderful day ahead.
