Good Morning to all my wonderful friends here at Hive. So what is it like to stay at a hotel in Bintulu, Sarawak?
For a night, it is around USD 25 or RM 90. Not too bad. I travelled all the way from Miri to Bintulu, and it usually takes around 2 hours and a half hours to reach. So, this is a rough review of the hotel.
One of my goals is to stay in almost all the hotels here in Bintulu. So, I can do a review and find out what it is like staying at different hotels around.
This hotel is owned by another hotel that is adjacent to this, and they have not done a lot of renovations. One of the only annoying things that I felt about staying at this hotel is that you have to go to the adjacent hotel to check in before heading here, which is about 5 minutes away.
After you get your card key, you can go to the main entrance and scan the card key to enter this area. The lift is just ahead.
The lift. Overall, it is clean, and there are no complaints just for the adjacent hotel check-in part. And the part that the card key could not read.
This is the room. The room is big enough with a decent view outside. The bed size is queen. Lots of place to put luggage and etc.
This is the washroom. Not many amenities, like tissue paper, as it seems like it was left by the last hotel guest.
There is a mirror in front of the bed, which is something I am not a fan of because at night, if I wake up and am in the middle of a dream. Suddenly, maybe I look at myself and get frightened.
Thank you very much for reading my post. Overall, this hotel gets a pass. For a good price, the parking area is safe enough but do not leave anything in the car. That's my tip here in Sarawak. And do not park your car at a place that doesn't have much foot traffic at that area. There is a risk of the tyres beings removed from the car.
