Visiting Brunei Sultan's Palace - The largest residential Palace in the world (Istana Nurul Iman)

Every year during Hari Raya, the Muslim celebration of the New Year, the Sultan of Brunei opens it's doors for visitors to visit. This video was made before I really got into making videos here on YouTube. I felt that it is a place that you would be interested to see.

I have lived in Brunei for approximately 19 years then moved to Miri which is the neighbouring city of Brunei and is part of Malaysia. I guess many people don't know where Miri actually is. Malaysia is divided into the western side and the eastern side. The royal palace has gone through loads of renovations to modernize the whole place. This hall where the guest visit is huge. It did not look like this when I visited it as a teenager.
