VIVACITY MEGAMALL, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
The atrium of Vivacity megamall. Something about spiral ceilings always mesmerises me like how an insect gets trapped in a web. Hung from the ceiling beautiful Chinese New Year decors.
The huge basement carpark
This carpark can accommodate up to a couple of hundred cars.. There are lights just in front of each parking space which lets the driver know if there is an availability of a parking space. If it's green, that space is empty and red means its occupied. After getting my car parked and walking for a few minutes, finally reached the entrance.
My wife in the flowery shirt walks with excitement. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores. I guess, having all these in the basement has one good benefit, cooler temperatures.
The most commonly found store in Kuching city. Has lots of variety of stuff to choose.
RED DECORS
Everything is in red. From the Kit Kat packages to the wrappings on the table.
Local delights packaged to cater to the new generation.
But wasteful.
Fresh fruits from the farm. So colourful.
SALMON TROUT
Used for making Sashimi.
Vietnamese rolls
Delicious Vietnamese rolls are also sold here. I've tried them before and they taste really great.
The drinks section
Lots of drinks to choose from. The first section that I usually visit is the coffee section.
Bought Korean coffee
Some of the best coffee out there is the Korean coffee brands. Delicious.
I also bought Boot Camp but it taste quite strange. Lime plus some chemical taste.
Everyone's busy buying groceries. Neatly arranged and clean.
Directly imported from Japan sold at a premium. The last time I tried these ramen was when I was in Taiwan. After that, we walked around.
CNY MOOD
This mall is huge and you could spend a whole day here if you love shopping. So much to look at. So much to do. The Malaysian mall is the place to go for everything entertainment.
The Catrium
The cat city dedicates everything to cats. The Catrium.
Prepare a lot of energy to walk around this mall.
Endless walks.
We went to the retail store
The view from the ground floor up.
There are four storeys.
Great to see the crowd. Everyone's wearing mask and practising social distancing.
