Be prepared to look at some of the most scenic pictures of Borneo. I am sure, you would be pretty amazed and would want to visit Kundasang, Sabah. To get here, it is a two-hour drive from the main city of Sabah which is Kota Kinabalu.
If you do get here and visit Sosodikon Hill, you will be truly impressed by the beauty of this place.
Mountainous. 1465 meters above sea level. The weather here is just amazing. One of the places in Malaysia to feel a bit of winter.

Mount Kota Kinabalu. The highest mountain in Malaysia. It was slightly foggy on this day covering Mount Kota Kinabalu. I waited another two more days and woke up early just to get a picture snapped of the mountain clear from any fog.

Some of the chalets here. This is one of the best places to stay. The tourist here isn't a lot. You imagine walking up with such a view. There are also many camping sites here too.

After that, it was a fifteen-minute hike up to Sosodikon Hill. I flew my drone here.
Is this hill a tough climb? Slightly but anyone can climb. It's not too difficult and some of the slopes are not too steep. Just take it slow and climb up.
Wow.. this is just so beautiful to look at. Kundasang is also famous for its fresh produce. The weather here is right for growing various types of fruits and veggies that are not native to Malaysia namely the strawberry.

After the climb, it was down down down. We finally got back to the base.

This is my trip to Sosodikon hill in Kundasang, Sabah. This is truly a place that you have to put on your bucket list of places to visit in the future. You have to plan a couple of nights stay here to fully experience the beauty of this area.
