Good Morning to all my wonderful friends here at .
How has your weekend been? Tomorrow is another Monday again. Are you excited? We are heading into July. Officially, the 7th month. Time flies.
This is what the place outside looks like. I recorded this from my DJI NEO.
At the end of this post is a short video that I recently uploaded to my YouTube channel of a flight around Bintulu.
Bintulu, as a city, is becoming more and more livable.
This place was just completed construction last year, so a lot of shops are still unoccupied at the moment. But it has increased since the last time I visited this place. There is a grocer here that sells a lot of imported stuff.
When you are walking here, you feel as though you are in an airport terminal. It has these long hallways that are fully air-conditioned. It's like being in a spacecraft.
Some of the artwork on display by the local artists of Sarawak
The first artwork is
This bridge was just completed operating last year, and it bridges the rural areas of Bintulu. This painting depicts Jepak Bridge at night with the colourful lights that light up the bridge at night. There is a place here in Bintulu where this particular artist stood from to paint this bridge.
The Penans are one of the disappearing tribes of Sarawak. As the state modernizes, a lot of the younger generations have moved to the city to work.
There is also Daiso that sells a lot of Japanese products. This is also a place where you can find lots of useful household-related materials.
This is a grocery store that you would definitely love to shop at especially if you want to get some products that are imported from other countries.
Some Avocados as well as Kiwis. I am a great fan of Avocados. Usually, I get them to blend with milk to make Avocado milk.
Bintulu has a huge land size, but only around 300k local residents here so a lot of places usually look empty.
Fresh chicken in a bag for your convenience.
After shopping here, I went back out and saw the mural already completed. In the picture, the artist has drawn lots of local plants like the Hibiscus, the Rafflesia and many more. You would definitely feel the vibes of Sarawak.
