Its chinese new year today and i kind of bit off far more than i could chew given the time i had after partying all day and night with family but i had to sit down and get some daily content out, I want to get better at backgrounds especially at difficult perspectives so i can become more employable in the video game concept/illustration world!
First off heres the line art before I left for the party in the morning
Color in the lineart with base colors!
Render the painting borders
Render the other side of portraits just briefly
Add the lights reflecting from the window onto the stairway
A bit of abstract lines from the carpet for some interest in empty areas
Add the wall ornaments with a few strokes
Add the ambient shadows that would appear on the corners
Add the magic luminosity tool and we're done
