October is almost over. And I wouldn't miss this invitation I received for this wonderful initiative for anything in the world.
This little craft is quite simple, yet beautiful and full of meaning. I made this item to take to the university village where I'm participating in an education training program. So after getting the cardboard, I started making this detail.
For materials we only need:
Making this craft reminded me of my sister, Glarise Castro. She battled breast cancer. She fought hard, but lost the fight last February.
I'm saddened that my sister passed away so young. I'm leaving my six nephews alone with their father.
There's one thing we can all do to lower our risks: eat less sugar or fewer foods that raise our blood sugar levels. Cancer feeds on sugar.
I thank my friend @ikigaidesing Thank you for this lovely invitation. I hope it won't be the last.
The cover was created in Canva. The text was translated using my phone's keyboard translator. The images are mine. They were taken exclusively for this project with my phone.
