Hello everyone!
This is a video in Portuguese in which I analyze the new Death Summoner, Octavia Shadowmeld, that came to the game a few weeks ago!
This Summoner has a -1 Life debuff on your opponent's monsters. This is a pretty consistent debuff, since the vast majority of cards have 2 or more Life, so its effect usually ends up actually benefiting the player. Not the best ability, but not the worse.
However, like all new Summoners, the card's major attractive is the Conscript ability. So Octavia's strength depends on the Death Splinter having good Gladius cards. So let's take a look at them!
Unfortunately, most Death Splinter Gladiator cards are low mana cards, so they have a limited impact on battles and, thus, end up not offsetting Octavia Shadowmeld's high mana cost. In my opinion, the only viable cards to play are Liza Fox and Xulax Nightwind. Not very attractive, tbh.

Nesse vídeo, eu vou analisar em detalhes a Octavia Shadowmeld, a nova Summoner do Splinter de Morte que entrou no jogo há algumas semanas!
Essa Summoner tem o debuff de -1 na Vida dos monstros adversários. Trata-se de um debuff bem consistente, visto que a grande maioria das cartas possuem 2 ou mais de vida, então seu efeito normalmente acaba, de fato, beneficiando o jogador.
Porém, assim como todos os novos Summoners, a grande habilidade da carta é a habilidade Conscript. Dessa forma, a força da Octavia depende do Splinter de Morte ter boas cartas de Gladius. Vamos dar uma olhada!
Infelizmente, a maioria das cartas Gladiator de Morte são de baixa mana, portanto são cartas pouco impactantes nas batalhas e que acabam não compensando o alto custo de Mana da Octavia Shadowmeld. Na minha opinião, as únicas cartas viáveis de serem jogadas é a Liza Fox e o Xulax Nightwind.
