Captain Joe Glass (Gerard Butler), a firm but fair man with a very demanding moral code, will be in charge of leading an important mission. Along with a group of Navy Seals, and from a submarine of the United States, it will have to rescue the president of Russia that has been taken prisoner after a military coup. Glass and his team must avoid at all costs that the situation leads to a Third World War.
