Hola, comunidad, espero que todos estén pasando un buen momento en lo personal, en lo familiar y en lo profesional.

Hoy les traigo una de esas canciones en que no hablamos de Dios sino que le hablamos a Él. Aunque la encontré en Youtube rotulada como “para Cuaresma” creo que es buena para cualquier época del año, ya que es una súplica a Dios, una solicitud de renovación en una frase que en forma reiterada suplica a Dios “Déjame nacer de nuevo”.

Para tomar conciencia de los fallos uy de nuestra necesidad de Dios no es necesario que llegue Cuaresma. En cualquier tiempo litúrgico el detenernos a reflexionar en cómo está transcurriendo nuestro diario vivir nos hará prestar atención a nuestros errores, fallos, pecados, caídas, y sentiremos la necesidad de esa renovación que solo Dios nos puede dar a través de Su Santo Espíritu.

Presten atención a la letra de esta canción y espero que la misma lleve frutos a sus vidas.

Comúnmente la cantamos en la parroquia en el momento de Comunión aun cuando no es un canto eucarístico, pero su letra invita a la conversión.

La versión que seleccioné para compartir con ustedes fue la de Ariel Glaser. Él es autor de la letra, compositor de la música y se define a sí mismo como” Un catequista que canta” Utiliza la música como una herramienta para catequizar.

La música es creación de Dios, el hombre la utiliza, digamos que la modifica y hace de ella un medio para él también crear y cuando la utiliza para adorar al Creador op para difundir su mensaje, esa “magia musical” es aún más poderosa.

¿Recuerdan el pasaje bíblico donde el Rey Saúl era atormentado por un espíritu y lo único que lo alejaba de él era cuando David quien era para entonces solo un pastor de ovejas tocaba el arpa y la música alejaba el mal espíritu?

Sí, es parte de esa “magia”de la música que todos los que estamos acá conocemos y que ha tocado nuestra vida de tal forma que no podemosprescindir de ella.

Today I bring you one of those songs in which we do not talk about God but we talk to Him. Although I found it on YouTube labeled “for Lent” I think it is good for any time of the year, since it is a plea to God, a request for renewal in a phrase that repeatedly begs God “Let me be born again.”
