Patapon is a video game franchise for PlayStation Portable that combines the gameplay styles of strategy, action and percussion rhythms.

It was developed by Pyramid and released by SCE in 2008, having 2 more versions, one released in 2009 and another in 2011. The soundtrack was made by Kenmei Adachi,

The game system is based entirely on the rhythm controlled by the four main buttons of the console, x, circle, square and triangle, with which you can assign battle orders achieving combinations with the sounds.
