In the previous post i have mentioned how most of Indonesian are waiting the verdict for Jualiari Batubara. The Ex-Minister of Social who is convicted for corrupting the Covid Aid for the citizen in need. He is doing the corruption along with several other of his staff, and also with the company who suppose to providing the aid.
They racked up about 34 Billion Rupiah in total. such a big amount of money for avarage Indonesian, if only that can go into the hand of needed, it will be very beneficials. It even make the people suffers because the aid that they recieved is far below standard.
The Judge leading the proceeding finally giving 12 years in prison for Juliari Batubara, a year bigger than what the attorney charge. He also instructed to return 14 Billion rupiah back to the goverment because it is proven he recieved them money from that corruption. If only the judge is giving a life in prison or giving order to take away all of the family wealth that would be even better.
Only downside from the verdict is the judge comment on how the citizen mock, harras and bad comment about Juliari. The judge said that he has suffers alot from the cyberbullying, and that is why he pick a side a little bit. Don't you think that the corrupt deserve way worse than just a cyber bullying?
