Most of the times religions is not going on the same direction with the technologies, even more they are on the opposing side. If that the case which side will you pick?
This is what happening lately in the crypto space in Indonesia. Being one of the biggest moslems countries in the world anything that related to Islam will more likely attract a big media attraction. Also because crypto has been booming lately here in Indonesia, any critics, ban and praise will definitely getting attention from the Indonesian crypto lover.

But when Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) or Indonesian Ulema Council give verdict about crypto, then it becomes International attentions it has been on several crypto media headlines. The MUI recently say that Crypto overall is a Haram things and should be avoided by all of the Indonesian. It is because they say, crypto has no actual goods, and also it is just a means of speculations. Because it is just a digital things, and you can't see the real form of it. Its like they forget they are paying or buying phone credit or internet bills, which has no real form yet are usable.
In contrary, the Indonesian government are allowing the trade and the use of crypto as a derivatives means as long as they are not being use as a means of payment. Because what is consider legal tender for Indonesian or in Indonesian territory is the Indonesian Rupiah.
So which side you are following? Religious side, Technological side, or Government?
