Today I would like to talk about two hot news from Indonesia. One about the always concerning Indonesian Corruption and another one is about Indonesian Cyber Security, which has been already on the hot spot because several cyber experts already point out how weak is our national cyber security.
Well as I had already mentioned how bad is the corruption situation here in Indonesia, while a few days ago the has been a huge case of bribe and corruption in one of the Regent in East Java, now there is another regent from East Java who is detained by the Corruption Eradication Committee. The case is that the regent corrupting the money from the Ministery of Public Work and Public Housing. It was done while he has in power in 2017-2018.
Then Another hot issue is cyber security in Indonesia. There was a hack in one of the application electronic-Health Alert Card, which is then Integrated with Peduli Lindungi which contain data from all of the citizens who receive Covid Vaksin Shot. And what is more shocking is that one of the data leaks during the attack belong to President Jokowi. This shows how bad is cyber security in Indonesia.
