The EOS token distribution has been met with overwhelming excitement and momentum, and we thank you for your interest in the development of EOS.IO software. As we have communicated across our social channels earlier today, the EOS Token Distribution Interface on the https://eos.io/ website has received a lot of requests, which has resulted in the interface being slow/unavailable for an extended period of time.
We've optimized the EOS Token Distribution Interface, and have set up a custom RPC to handle the excess traffic. Please follow the steps below to configure the Metamask extension to point to the custom RPC.
While optimization of the application is ongoing we have temporarily disabled the ability in the EOS Token Distribution Interface to send ETH to future periods. Until we restore this feature, please use a separate compatible wallet to send to a future period.
