My native and beloved city, very beloved, in which I was born and raised: the city of Rostov-on-Don.
It was founded on December 15, 1749.
Rostov-on-Don is the largest city in the southwest of Russia.
What can a visitor to this city see?
Of course it depends on everyone's preferences, but I think that the beauty of the magnificent mansions of the century before last will be interesting for everyone to see.
Many beautiful pre-revolutionary mansions are located on the street. Bolshaya Sadovaya.
And my favorite mansion is the building of the Mayor's Office of Rostov-on-Don, which was built in 1899:

And if you are a circus lover, then you are here:
The cost of the ticket, depending on the seats, is from 600 (6.72 Евро) to 2.700 rubles (30.27 Евро) per person.
Do you have another day? Then I advise you to take a boat trip along the Don. Prices are different, depending on the duration of the walk and the boat.
Or you can just take a walk
To be in Rostov-on-Don and not visit the "Zolotoy Kolos" cafe on Bolshaya Sadovaya street ?!
Go there immediately! And you won't regret it!
The "Zolotoy Kolos" cafe was built in 1951.
My friend and I, at school age, often went here and continue to go.
Here not only delicious food is cooked, it is also beautiful and cozy here.
Look at the ceiling, beauty! Is not it?!
In this cafe you can order not only desserts, ice cream, aromatic pastries, but also dishes of Russian, Caucasian and European cuisines. And trust me, you will love it!
Here is a small fraction of the assortment of sweets:
And yet, in 2008, on May 5, the city of Rostov-on-Don was awarded the title "City of Military Glory" for the courage, resilience and mass heroism shown by the defenders of the city in the struggle for the freedom and independence the Fatherland in 1941-1945.
Rostov, I love you!
To be continued.
