Hello!
This is my participation in #WednesdayWalk hosted by @tattoodjay.
This private zoo is located in the small village of Agios Trimitias, 12 km. from Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.
Me and my girlfriend with her children visited even before the coronavirus.
At the entrance you can buy food for animals.
I liked this idea, because not only children are interested in feeding animals, don't laugh - I fed :-)
After all, in this way there is contact with the animal, and it is always pleasant and interesting.
Today I will show you pictures of the Tailed Lemur, also known as ring-tailed lemur.
A group of Tailed Lemurs usually has 20 to 30 individuals.
The group has a strict hierarchy, the leaders are mostly females.
Tailed Lemur feed on fruits, leaves, flowers, herbaceous plants, cacti (I feel sorry for cacti for obvious reasons) and occasionally insects.
The lifespan of the Tailed Lemur in the wild rarely exceeds 16 years.
And in captivity they set a record lifespan of 27 years!!!
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
And this lemur walked outside the enclosure :-)
And interestingly, he was not afraid of us, the children of my girlfriend fed him.
I took a video of it, but I couldn't attach it :-(
And now some photos of ducks and beauties of swans in black, white and black and white.
