I really like Daffodils and I buy their bulbs every year to plant in a pot.
Before planting the bulb, I disinfect it in a weak solution of potassium permanganate for 30 minutes.
I let it dry a little and plant only 2/3 of the bulb in the ground and sprinkle it with sand around.
I plant a Narcissus bulb when the air temperature is approximately + 4-8潞C.
Since in my experience, when I planted later, flowering lasted much less.
Daffodils need good lighting, but do not like direct sunlight.
