Freesia is a bulbous perennial.
Homeland of which is South Africa.

Freesia got its name in honor of the German botanist and physician Friedrich Vries.

Freesia is very light-requiring. They write that direct sunlight is destructive for her, as well as drafts.
But my Freesia is constantly under them.
But I didn’t see that it affected her flowering or appearance. It blooms every year and pleases me with its wonderful scent!

I cut off those flowers that have faded. And I noticed that this helps the opening of subsequent buds.

After the end of the flowering of Freesia, I continue to water it for another month or a little more.
With this watering, more new bulbs are formed.

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
