UBI is the shoehorn in for communism/authoritarianism/technocracy. (centralized redistribution of wealth).

It is not free market.

Ergo, philosophically speaking - it is evil. (definition of evil = control over others).

Benevolence by those in power, has never been shown to exist. There is no logical reason to believe it will ever be any different. (social credit scores, anyone?)

Am I saying you're a well meaning, but misguided, useful idiot by thinking UBI is a valid economic model ? Yes.

The philosophy of UBI is based on the control over others (whether you see it or not, doesn't change the reality).

History, with philosophy and ethical argument - makes this an empirical fact.
