An interesting perspective...
I'm not sure you are correct (not the gestation thingy, the other parts).

If you take away the government warring, and look at history - we, as humans, are a conflict based organism (acquisition of resources at the local level).

I'm not saying 'right or wrong', just seeing it a s objectively as possible.
...if my perspective is correct, and we try to change the nature of us (rather than readjust is to suit us better), we are doomed to a failed project - just like communism, ironically!
