Ethical profit - from corruption. A fast deep dive into knowing thyself. Ouch!
While the US elections are still ongoing (and yet to be resolved - by a long way), I thought I'd share with you my 'trading' on it yesterday, and the thought processes which led to easy, big, profits.
Here is my perspective.
Trump was going to win by a landslide. (if there was no fraud).
IF there was fraud, then the markets would behave very predictably...
The day would start with Trump leading greatly as the votes came in throughout the day.
Any fraudulent behavior would be exposed later on in the day, after voting times ceased. (fake ballots etc, added to the voter count).
In trading terms this was a 'fish in barrel' kind of trade.
Back the winner, then back against the winner before 'the corruption moves' kicked into gear.
So I backed Trump to win - which would have given me a healthy profit
...but fully expected the Democrat shenanigans (that are going on right now) so then bet against Trump later on, when the odds had dramatically altered in his favor to show him winning.
THEN, as the fraud kicked in, I knew the odds would dramatically swing the other way. (which they did, of course, it's math).
So as things stand now, I'm in a 'no lose' bet, situation. (monetarily at least).
I'm guaranteed to profit.
This financial success wasn't insider trading, it was taking advantage of corruption, and understanding how it operates...Corruption is like that - predictable. And it doesn't matter what kind of corruption - intellectually, or institutionally - the vile, stenched animal that corruption is behaves in exactly the same ways.
Understand psychology, understand yourself, understand others.
IF the dems win, the results from of that will be equally predictable - none of them very nice.
I'm lucky, as it won't really effect me in the short term - hopefully (5 years or so).
I cry for the live's of those tens of millions of people in the US who are gonna face unbelievable hardships, if Biden does win.
'Turkeys voting for Christmas', has nothing on those people who've helped support a biden (technocratic) 'win'....
I'll grab my popcorn and watch for profitable opportunity....(see the bottom of this post with an idea I'm toying with).
Corruption is as predictable as gravity - You just have to know yourself first, to then be able to see things clearly - to then be able to profit from corrupt idiots.
Fish in a barrel.
If you never saw this profit taking opportunity (as a trader)....Then ask yourself... 'why not?'
(the signs advertising this forthcoming train of events were slightly larger than the state of Texas - and in flashing neon lights!)
If you didn't see it, it wasn't the external world that blinded you to the opportunity - it was your own internal perspectives that stopped you seeing the said neon sign, as big as Texas.
YOU stopped yourself from profiting with your own psychological myopia - no one else.
'Know thyself' and then you can see the world from a much clearer vantage point.
Clean your head.

....I'm toying with the idea of a subscription website - which is impossible to do on hive block chain. (I believe it to be so, anyway).
...Much deeper delves into psychology - so as to best know yourself . Be a better trader. Understand the world better.
...And with a very limited amount of subscribers - (100 people max?).
This keeps it personal and at a very low cost - $3 dollars a month seems reasonable - cheap as chips - for any help I can offer to help 'knowing thyself').
