Good to know that you also have this kind of wild plant umirais@umirais. This was my childhood favorite snacks too. Aside from wild guavas we use to find in the forest we use to picked this fruits. We locally call this plant “utot-utot”. Utot which means for us “fart” I don’t know how it started but I learned why we call it utot it’s because it’s sounds like a fart when pop. I love eating this when they are still green but already ripe it tastes sweet and sour. Unlike if it’s already yellow they are too sweet which I don’t really like the taste anymore. Until today I still like to eat them whenever I found one. 😊
