What upsets you in the world today? It can be many things.
The lack of compassion, the favoritism that still exist benefiting the haves and leaving the have not’s with hardly anything.
Is it that some of us still have to watch our backs when we go out into public? Yes being a person of color we do, depending on what location you’re in when the sun goes down. Please don’t get me wrong there are great things about Minnesota. The parks, bike trails, fishing, boating, hiking, beautiful lakes.
We have concerts, Theater plays, movie theaters and great places to eat that we enjoyed before covid 19. But there is also a underline group of police officers who don’t want to see change.
They have a god like attitude which allows them to use their authority recklessly with no repercussions.
Though the death of George Floyd was heart wrenching to
watch, through out history many have been killed before him.
Thank goodness in this case it was recorded. It makes me wonder
if the officers would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist because this has been the status quo for quite sometime.
Right now l feel more uneasy than l ever have before. Like walking
in a field hidden bombs. Never knowing when one will explode!
How many more officers have the same attitude? What about the people From out of town who came here only to cause destruction! Also people who live here with racist feelings for minorities. How nice is Minnesota?
