This is really touching. I almost cried reading this. Indeed no one deserves to suffer such painful illness. Sickle cell is really draining. It takes your joy, your money, your time and even your life.

I have a friend that suffers from sickle-cell anaemia too. Whenever I see her, I just feel like crying. She looks very thin and pale. She visits the hospital regularly and has spent a lot of her days there.

Lately her issue escalated into a skin disease and she has undergone several surgeries.
I just pray the cure to this horrible disease is found soon. I pray that all the sickle cell patients get well. They too deserve a good and happy life
