we wouldn't be depending so greatly on TheRising and gcalex voting power. And if one day they would decide to power down / stop supporting us -> then we still would be able to carry on without receiving HUGE BLOW.

That's true. Depending on whales is not a solution.in fact i am also worried about it because they are independent to do power down or stop supporting us. That's why i am in favor to this new idea. It is important for ph stability.
