SuperDirty - 2002

I was reading an article this morning called ‘MySpace Bands: Where did they go?’, when an idea hit me...can I recover my old account? I’m pretty sure I remember enough...yep! It worked.
SuperDirty was formed out of the ashes of a prior band by the name of Mary Phaser 88 (1996 - 2001) - We had just moved to Houston Tx (U.S.) from Savannah Ga (U.S.) and were roundly welcomed for our efforts with plenty of opening slots and free drinks.
Playing shows around the Houston local scene between 2001 - 2004, it was a blast and we lived it up!
We cut an EP in ’02 titled ’RoughMix’
The good old days of hand drawn covers and Kinkos flyers.
[Also the first public appearance of the character Oswald - more on him at a later date]
As occasionally happens, life moves in differing directions, and so we called it a day and quietly disbanded.
Those were three of the funnest (it’s a word) years I’ve had playing shows.
We were new in town and we left 100% on every stage we hit with manic energy.
Everybody left wet : )
Life was good!
After dissolving the group, the drummer and I (the bassist) would go on to play in the band Harem Festival together for another eight years of shit and shenanigans...but that’s a story for another time...
I’m a big believer that just because the band dies off, doesn’t mean the music should go with it.
Swing by the MySpace page and check out a few tracks!
(I hope the link is good. It worked for me)

Listen loud and steal it if you dig it!!
