I guess people are more confused going along with the futuristic development of this new #blockchain ...

Audius might be something more than simply bandcamp and soundcloud. (to answer to the comment of @kiwibloke as well)

Artists cannot understand, or at least the average percentage of this slice of society, named artists ( which has a big question mark from my point of view) :) what this kind of platforms will be actually.

Audius, for instance, like musicoin as well, will release as well the opportunity for the artist to create his own #nft through which those who will #purchase your album for the value of 10 $ ( let's say in #audio ) will receive the same amount in your own #nft created by you ...

The fact that they've released this "badge protocol" it means, somehow that the "meritocracy" concept will play a big factor within the platform ... so to speak, the artists wh are truly professionals, will become "curators" as well ... and they will earn not only through the playings they will receive on their albums, but from their curation protocol as well ...

It will become like a sort of "virtual artistic job" ...

The big danger will be with the same and eternal entity named Ego, that will submine the mental of hose artists ... and they will not be altruists and they will just wait for 3K for their album to be paid through audius :)

I guess, that audisu will be something more than spotify, bandcamp and soundcloud.

The only issue will be the protocol through which there, maybe, won't be an average remuneration "per play" like for instance on Emanate it's happening, and you can check it here and join the futurtistic platform as well: https://www.streamcard.io?kid=17N72C In my humble artistic opinion, MN8 might be much more reliable from some perspectives, but since it's on #eos blockchain and it uses browser extension, a lots of artists find it very complicated to setup an account.

The funky part it's that on MN8 you can earn on every 6 second that is played and the this amount it's arround 0.01 more per play ...

Audius, will be something slightly different, since they will function much more as an app.that will be able to be connected to your car through bluetooth maybe and you can use it as a radio, creating playlists.

I will be curious how the entire voting powers will go, cause if someone who's making music just for fun but he has the platinum badge and has the power to slice and decide whatever they want ... the true artists, which in most of the cases .. are still in troubles with this thing called money :) might be left-overs kind of species ...

If you had some problems @kiwibloke with the uploading process of your songs, it's not because of the verification, which sounds spooky for so many, that are thinking that if you'll offer the verification through a third party, there will be a problem ... but maybe you've accesed the "listener" option instead of the "artist" one ...

I do hope that the playings won't cost, 'cause as i've seen on https://vibravid.io/users/ElBalkumbero where you can add bounties or setup a price in #btzc or #tron for those who are whiling to listen/watch to your content ... that no one cares as long it is not free or at least to receive some bread-crumbs ... the super "poor mind" mentality that will undermine the minds of those artists that are still triggered inside that weird Matrix ...

I do hope that somehow, musicians will get remunerated through the free playings and only when someone would like purchase your album to have it on their computer, THEN, a price can be set.

In rest, let's see where everything goes, 'cause definitely the society will become something else :)

Regarding the discord verification ... that's kind of weird to jin the VIP club 'cause you need to acces the community using your phone nr.
