Estaba un poco alejada de los maquillajes, estos días no han sido muy buenos en general, pero aún así debía maquillarme, en esta oportunidad por un compromiso. Desde hace más de una semana, creo que rondando las dos semanas, me escribió una chica de mi ciudad para invitarme a formar parte de una colaboración con otras chicas también de mi ciudad, para maquillarnos inspiradas en ciertos aspectos o personajes de la misma, con un total de diez participantes.

I was a little bit away from makeup, these days have not been very good in general, but I still had to do my makeup, this time for a commitment. More than a week ago, I think it was about two weeks ago, a girl from my city wrote me to invite me to be part of a collaboration with other girls also from my city, to make up inspired by certain aspects or characters of the same, with a total of ten participants.

En mi caso, estuve escogiendo un personaje de mi ciudad. Denominado El Diablo de Cumaná Un persona que fue nombrado patrimonio cultural de mi ciudad. Desde hace muchos años este personaje se inspiro en el diablo y en los diablos danzantes, creo su propio disfraz y se dispuso a asustar a las personas, siendo las frecuente su salida en las épocas del carnaval. A veces se vestía completamente de negro o rojo, combinando estos colores también, con antorchas, cuernos y demás implementos. Hoy me inspire en estos mismos para lograr este maquillaje.

In my case, I was choosing a character from my city. Named The Devil of Cumaná A person who was named cultural heritage of my city. For many years this character was inspired by the devil and the dancing devils, created his own costume and set out to scare people, being frequent his departure at the time of carnival. Sometimes he dressed completely in black or red, combining these colors also, with torches, horns and other implements. Today I was inspired by them to achieve this makeup.

Primero hice mis ojos, como en todos mis maquillajes. La técnica que iba a utilizar era un Smoky Eye en tonos rojos por motivo del "diablo". Comencé colocando el tono por todo mi parpado móvil y luego lo difumine con una brocha para este propósito, así de sencillo. Después realice un delineado bastante largo y coloque pestañas postizas, el resto de la línea inferior lo iba a estar realizando después.

First I did my eyes, as in all my makeups.The technique I was going to use was a Smoky Eye in red tones for the "devil". I started by placing the shade all over my mobile eyelid and then I blended it with a brush for this purpose, it was as simple as that. Then I did a long eyeliner and placed false eyelashes, the rest of the lower line I was going to be doing later.

Luego comencé a hacer mi piel, aplicando una prebase para rellenar poros e hidratar un poco mi piel. Después aplique base de maquillaje por todo mi rostro, cuando estuvo totalmente difuminada me coloque la combinación de mis dos correctores favoritos para neutralizar e iluminar. Por ultimo estuve sellando todo el maquillaje con polvo suelto en la tonalidad translucida.

Then I started to do my skin, applying a primer to fill in pores and moisturize my skin a bit. Then I applied foundation all over my face, when it was completely blurred I applied the combination of my two favorite concealers to neutralize and illuminate. Lastly I sealed all the makeup with loose powder in the translucent shade.

Para terminar con este maquillaje estuve colocando sombra negra en la línea inferior de las pestañas, lápiz negro con la línea de agua de mi ojo. También realice contornos y aplique iluminadores en los puntos altos de mi rostro, me estuve saltando el rubor en esta oportunidad. Casi para finalizar estuve haciendo mis labios con una combinación de negro, vinotinto y rojos. Finalmente en la línea de mis ojeras estuve colocando más sombra negra y algunas líneas con delineador liquido junto con unos cachos.

To finish with this makeup I was placing black shadow on the lower lash line, black pencil with the water line of my eye. I also contoured and applied highlighter on the high points of my face, I was skipping the blush this time. Almost to finish I was doing my lips with a combination of black, vinotint and reds. Finally in the line of my dark circles I was putting more black shadow and some lines with liquid eyeliner along with some chunks.
