Descubrir lindos lugares es una actividad que me encanta, esté donde esté, y la verdad es que en el viaje que hice con mis amigos hace un tiempito a Caripe antes de que terminara el año, me llevó muchas sorpresas. Uno de estos lugares fue "Casa Vieja" un local super pequeño ubicado en el centro de Caripe, el cual se confunde con una casita o un lugar donde venden cualquier cosita. La verdad no llama mucho la atención al principio, les cuento.

Discovering beautiful places is an activity that I love, wherever I am, and the truth is that on the trip I made with my friends a while ago to Caripe before the end of the year, I had many surprises. One of these places was "Casa Vieja" a super small place located in the center of Caripe, which is confused with a little house or a place where they sell anything. Llegamos acá por recomendación de mi mamá. Ella ya había ido, pero me explicó super mal por teléfono, así que el primer día no pasamos por ahí, sino por otro lugar, jaja. Había un letrero en la calle con información de lo que vendían y al entrar encontrabas 3 mesas con los estantes llenos de dulces, café, cacao y otras cosas típicas del pueblo y también de la temporada.

We came here on the recommendation of my mom. She had already been there, but she explained it to me very badly over the phone, so the first day we didn't go there, but somewhere else, haha. There was a sign on the street with information about what they sold and when you entered you found 3 tables with shelves full of sweets, coffee, cocoa and other typical things of the town and also of the season.

Como no era de otra, pedimos unos chocolates calientes y un café. El chocolate estaba muy bueno y recuerdo que fue demasiado económico para ser cierto. También probamos cosas típicas como las bolsitas de platanos fritos, que estaban muy ricas y también muy económicas, como casi todo lo que compramos en el lugar. Todos estábamos muy felices, pero no compramos demasiadas cosas, puesto que teníamos planes de ir a otro lugar a seguir comiendo y probando cosas. Lo que más nos hizo felices en todo el viaje fue eso. Conectamos con la comida a la perfección, jaja.

We ordered some hot chocolates and coffee. The chocolate was very good and I remember it was too cheap to be true. We also tried typical things like the little bags of fried plantains, which were very tasty and also very cheap, like almost everything we bought in the place. We were all very happy, but we did not buy too many things, since we had plans to go to another place to continue eating and trying things. The thing that made us the happiest on the whole trip was that. We connected with the food perfectly, haha.
