Hello everyone, the weekend is here with us again and I'm excited about it.
So this week's prompt is all about sands. When I saw the prompt I was happy because it's a simple task to do. We virtually have sand everywhere.
I live in an environment, actually a village side that is still developing. People are now moving from the town down to come build houses, establish businesses and other stuffs and with all these construction works going on here, we see different kinds of sand being used.
I captured this sand while I was going home on thursday. The tipping truck had just finished tipping it and looking at it, it seemed different from the other ones I usually see there so I walked up to the site manager to enquire about the sand.馃槀
I'm sure you wanna know what he said. Well he said the name is plaster sand, and that plaster sands are specifically used for plastering buildings, floors, fences, etc because of their smooth texture. Another thing is that plaster sands have varieties of colors like white, brown, red, washed and yellow. I think this one is washed type, well I didn't ask further.
With this I now know the type of sand to purchase for plastering whenever I will have the resources for my house project.
