« Maldive Republic » called earth paradise by some people , located in the Indian ocean .
This country is a series of 1000 islands , & about 80 island contains a luxury resort or hotels , & it’s a tourist attraction for it’s charm and beauty . but to visit this place you need to empty your pockets if you know what I mean , everyone desire to go to Maldives so it’s a bit expensive .
There’s a lot of activities to do while being in Maldives like : windsurfing , jet skiing and canoeing etc ..
But if you wanna visit this heaven you need just go for it , because this islands are threatened to disappear from existence and this is due to sea water level rising caused by global warming .
Most of the island rise 1.5 meters above sea level so if the water level rise about 60 cm each 100 year it will take only 2 centuries for these island to vanish from existence , but the pace of global warming is increasing rapidly that means it could sink before that .
The President of the republic in 2008 called to purchase lands in Australia to be an alternative for Maldivian people.
