Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has become the highest scoring player in a season who debuts for the team. Yesterday the Egyptian striker scored 4 goals for the 5-0 win against Watford and now has 36 goals in all competitions, 3 more than Fernando Torres scored in his debut season during the 2007/08 campaign.

Salah has now surpassed Harry Kane with 4 goals and Sergio Aguero with 7 in the battle for the Premier League Golden Boot as he has scored 28 goals in 30 appearances. He will have the biggest chances to win as Harry Kane will be out for a few weeks after he picked up an injury last week.

Yesterday the Egyptian forward has equaled another interesting record as he scored 4 goals with exactly 4 shots on target which was done only by former Arsenal winger Andrey Arshavin.
