Hello Hive, greetings to all the needlework artists. I had not posted as my health condition due to my kidneys made it difficult for me to sit for long periods of time. I had to control my eagerness to work on my projects. But thank God I am feeling better, that's why I bring you this very meaningful little production, Barbie in her joropera dress.
I decided to make this project very excited and at the same time novel, I had many years that I had not made clothes so small. I was inspired by the traditional folk dance of my country Venezuela. For this work I used pieces of fabric, thread and needle and my beautiful Barbie as a model. It was a whole afternoon between designing and creating. It was really great to see my brunette Barbie dressed as a joropera.
Hola Colmena, saludos a todos los artistas de la aguja. No había posteado ya que mi estado de salud debido a mis riñones me dificultaba estar sentada por largos períodos de tiempo. Tuve que controlar mis ansias de trabajar en mis proyectos. Pero gracias a Dios ya me siento mejor, por eso les traigo esta pequeña producción muy significativa, Barbie en su vestido de joropera.
Decidí hacer este proyecto muy ilusionada y a la vez novedosa, tenía muchos años que no había hecho ropa tan pequeña. Me inspiré en la danza folclórica tradicional de mi país Venezuela. Para este trabajo utilicé trozos de tela, hilo y aguja y mi hermosa Barbie como modelo. Fue toda una tarde entre el diseño y la creación. Fue realmente genial ver a mi Barbie morena vestida de joropera.

Corta el trozo de tela blanca de 18 cm de largo x 50 cm de ancho, yo cerré la costura trasera a mano dejando una abertura de 3 cm de largo.

Corta un trozo de tela blanca de 20 cm de largo x 2 cm de ancho, esta es la cintura de la falda, la cosí a mano, doblé la costura por dentro y volví a coser para que quedara mejor.
